Irene Bublik(Shimanel)psychologist

I work with people who face recurring difficulties in relationships, anxiety, inner conflict, a persistent dissatisfaction with themselves, loneliness, the aftermath of separation, and other experiences that significantly affect their lives.
In therapy, you can explore the roots and inner structure of your difficulties. Gradually, feelings and connections that once seemed unclear become more accessible. You begin to understand your own reactions, recurring situations, relationships with others, and your relationship with yourself more deeply.
Sessions take place online. Each session lasts 60 minutes and is held regularly at a set time.
Have a dream that stays with you? My AI service Lunable lets you explore it for free through a psychoanalytic approach→01 — Concerns
Reasons for seeking therapy
You may seek support because of a specific problem, or because the ways you have relied on to cope with life no longer seem to help.
- 01Persistent anxiety and inner tension
- 02Recurring difficulties in relationships
- 03Difficulty forming close relationships
- 04Loneliness
- 05Separation, divorce, or loss
- 06Relationships with parents and their impact on adult life
- 07A persistent sense of inadequacy
- 08Emotional exhaustion and chronic fatigue
- 09Emigration and changing life circumstances
It can be particularly important to seek support when you notice that your reactions and life patterns keep repeating. Relationships with different people may unfold in similar ways, the same feelings may arise in familiar circumstances, and attempts to change things may bring only temporary relief.
In these cases, we explore the inner reasons behind these repetitions.
02 — Approach
How therapy works
In sessions, you can speak about whatever feels important: events, thoughts, feelings, relationships, memories, dreams, and the associations that arise.
I listen closely, paying attention to recurring themes, contradictions, shifts in how you feel, and relationship patterns that emerge in the process.
What is said matters, as does what remains outside the conversation: difficulties, pauses, resistance, and the wish to change the subject. We can explore the psychological defences, inner conflicts, and unconscious motives that emerge in these moments.
Over time, you can gain a deeper understanding of your reactions and recurring situations in your life.
Sometimes a dream offers a place to begin. If you would prefer to start with something specific, you can explore a dream for free with my AI service Lunable — through a psychoanalytic approach. It is not a substitute for therapy, but it can offer the first material for a conversation.

Consistency
Sessions take place once a week at a set time. A consistent framework makes it possible to notice changes and explore your reactions and psychological defences more closely.
Open conversation
You can speak about any thoughts, feelings, or events — whether they seem important or insignificant. There is no need to prepare a topic in advance: the material emerges through the conversation itself.
Space for what is difficult
You can speak about what is often difficult to discuss with others: desire, aggression, envy, shame, dependency, sexuality, relationships with loved ones, and your own contradictions.
03 — Who it is for
Who this work is for
This kind of work asks for a willingness to explore your own experience and approach aspects of your inner life that may feel uncomfortable, contradictory, or difficult to understand.
You do not need to understand the reasons behind what is happening before you begin. A difficulty or question you would like to explore is enough.
You may come to me if you want to understand:
- Why certain situations keep repeating?
- Why relationships with different people follow a similar pattern?
- Where persistent anxiety comes from?
- Why your achievements do not bring satisfaction?
- Why it is difficult to set boundaries or say no?
- Why closeness feels both necessary and unsettling?
- Why certain events continue to affect your life years later?
When working with me may not be suitable
Psychological therapy is not suitable for every situation. If your condition requires medical or psychiatric care, it is important to contact the appropriate specialist.
In some cases, therapy can take place alongside treatment from a psychiatrist or another doctor. If I see a need for additional support, I will discuss it with you.
🌙 Lunable — my AI service
A dream as a place to begin
I created Lunable, a Telegram bot that explores dreams through a psychoanalytic approach. It is free to use. If it is difficult to put your concern into words, but a dream keeps repeating or stays with you, this can be a gentle way to approach the subject — and notice whether there is something you would like to bring to a personal session.
04 — Framework
Professional framework and confidentiality
Confidentiality
Information shared during therapy is not disclosed to third parties, except where required by law in situations involving an immediate threat to life or safety.
Terms agreed in advance
Before we begin, we agree on the session format, fee, duration, frequency, and cancellation policy.
Personal therapy and supervision
I undertake personal therapy and professional supervision. This helps me maintain a professional position and distinguish my own emotional material from that of the person I work with.
Scope of practice
If your condition requires medical or psychiatric care, it is important to contact an appropriate specialist. If I believe additional support is needed, I will discuss this with you.
